The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, Melbourne 2015
Whilst we were shining our boots, cleaning our visors and levelling off our bow ties up in Sydney, the dapper gents of Melbourne were straddling their steeds and setting off from the Melbourne Museum’s Exhibition Building. With more than 450 gentlefolk, Melbourne held its own, supporting the cause with one of the most populated rides in the world.
Beginning in Sydney four years ago, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride has quickly spread worldwide, becoming one of the biggest (if not already the biggest) single day motorcycle events in the world. Including more than 400 cities across the globe, in 2014 alone participants across 58 countries raised more than $1.7 million for prostate cancer research.
Below are a collection of photographs from the ride.
